Our leadership team

Ben Marnham


As Chairman Ben is focussed on leading the Trust Systems Board of Directors and focussing on strategic matters, overseeing our business and setting high governance standards to support our future plans.

Ben joined us in March 2021 and brings a wealth of experience in the sector, this includes previously leading and co-invested in the £50 million MBO of managed service provider Timico in 2017, where he also served as CEO for two years. Prior to this, he was Chair at Solar Communications, which exited successfully to Wavenet in 2018 and he was also one of the original team of four that grew Alternative Networks plc from a startup in 1994, to a turnover of £115 million and EBITDA of £16 million by 2012.  Ben is currently Chair of Circle IT, Zest4 and Xperience Group.

Tom Stone

Managing Director

Tom joined Trust just after the company launched in 2007 and has been an integral part of its success and evolution to date. As an expert in Networking, Tom has been influential to ensuring Trust deployments are built to service our customers’ needs now and into the future.

Tom studied Computer Systems Engineering at Canterbury University, then joined a local IBM business partner and quickly gained skills across a range of technology areas, delivering solutions to customers across all verticals. Before joining Trust he worked for a multinational managed service provider in the security practice, working on solutions for a number of FTSE 100 businesses. With over 20 years’ experience and technology expertise, Tom leads the Trust operations team to ensure innovation with meaning and results. With a strong remit to deliver technology as an enabler, Tom has worked with our customers to provide leading networking and digital solutions and services.

‘Outside of work I have a passion for golf and skiing. I love taking my son for days out to theme parks and long walks with our new puppy.’

Mike Dowson

Commercial Director

Mike is our Commercial Director with a vast and demonstrable history of working in the design and delivery of technology and digital services. With extensive experience in service delivery, enterprise software and partner management to deliver innovative, benefit led service and solutions. Spanning an array of sectors Mike has a strong understanding of Retail, Hospitality and Enterprise business.

Joining Trust in 2015 Mike is focussed on building long term strategic relationships with our customers. Mike’s approach is clear – to strive to build solutions and services based on value, quality and innovation for our customers.

Mike has worked for various leading technology companies where he has clearly demonstrated a creative approach as his belief is technology is an enabler to deliver better business.

‘Outside of work spending time with my wife, 5 children and 6 grandchildren is my favorite thing to do. I have a passion for travel, good food and great wines. I’m an avid fan of most sports, however due to advancing years golf is one of the few I can actually participate in these days.’

Andrew Fox

Head of Business Development

Andrew is our Head of Business Development and has previously worked at Timico for the last 12 years and previously Vodafone for 7 years, where he was able to develop his fantastic network. His expertise in networking, security and cloud sales into Retail, Hospitality and Not for Profit Sectors, specifically Cisco Meraki solutions will help him expand our reach into new logos.

In June 2021 Andrew joined our leadership team to help grow and shape our strategy and the sales team to support our exciting growth plans.

‘Outside of work I love getting outdoors with my two young sons and wife walking the two aging Labradors around our local countryside, climbing a mountain, or heading to the coast in Norfolk or Cornwall. I enjoy hosting a good BBQ with friends and family which must be carefully netted off with a few runs and trips out on the road bike.’

David Rolfe

Non-Executive Director

David joined us in March 2021 as part of our new partnership with NVM Private Equity (NVM).

David joined NVM in 2012 and is the partner responsible for their investment activity across the South. This includes originating and transacting new deals as well as managing NVM’s existing portfolio. Prior to NVM, he was a Director in Corporate Finance at PwC leading deal activity in the South East. David received a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from Portsmouth University as well as being a  qualified chartered accountant.

‘Outside of work I am a keen golfer, wine taster and taxi service to two young daughters.’

James Arrowsmith

Non-Executive Director

James joined us in March 2021 as part of our new partnership with NVM Private Equity (NVM).

James joined NVM in 2005 and looks after the Midlands region identifying new businesses for NVM to invest in and work with NVM’S existing investments to grow value for their investors. James also sits on NVM’s investment committee. He received a degree in Banking & Finance from Loughborough University.

‘Outside of work I enjoy a range of sports including windsurfing, golf and cycling, although my two boys now beat me at everything, which is a bit disappointing!  I also enjoy travelling.’
