In 2015, Trust Systems began working with Ark Data Centres who deliver socially responsible and highly secure data centres within purpose-built campuses. Ark is committed to providing data centre solutions, from the ground up, that are cost-effective, risk averse and aligned to clients’ business and sustainability strategies; Trust Systems is proud to support Ark in helping to deliver these objectives.
Ark Data Centres designs, constructs and operates the UK’s most efficient data centres. Through innovation, Ark Data has the lowest total cost of ownership in the world and has saved both millions of pounds and millions of tonnes of carbon for organisations in the defence, telecommunications, government and financial services sectors. With state-of-the-art sites in Hampshire and Wiltshire, they are on route to becoming the largest in Europe.
The Solution
Our role is to provide Ark with IT Architecture Services and technology to manage their infrastructure including:
- Architecture consultancy for building new and existing infrastructure
- Network monitoring software; an intrinsic part of delivering a robust large-scale
network to Ark - On-site expert resource
- Extended hour service desk provision-managing infrastructure
- Hardware provision and deployment
